The Artists' Roundtable: Identifying Yourself as an Artist

Artists, art professionals and art enthusiasts are invited to join a roundtable discussion with like-minded individuals. This professional development session is designed to help artists refine their artist statement, professional bio and resume, work towards developing a "brand" and learn how to shoot and prepare a digital portfolio with the intention of finding more professional opportunities. Surface pattern designer and artist, Casey Sibley of Casey D. Sibley Art + Design, will facilitate a group dialogue featuring special guests Lisa Kurt, painter and illustrator behind Lisa Kurt Art + Illustration, Sarah Stevenson, a photographer and mixed media artist and the creator of the art retreat, Create. Explore. Discover, and Frances Melhop, Director of St. Mary's Art Center and a photographer with ties to Milan, Italy, Europe, and the South Pacific, creating extraordinary and unique imagery in the fashion and advertising arena.
