Teens ages 12–15 will spend the week learning the art of sewing in a supportive, inspiring studio environment. This 5-day camp is designed for beginners and emerging makers who want to build confidence, learn foundational sewing skills, and create wearable pieces from start to finish.
Students will be guided through essential techniques—from understanding their sewing machine to constructing garments—while working on fun, hands-on projects they can feel proud of. By the end of the week, each student will have completed shorts, a zippered pouch and a drawstring bag. Students will also have the opportunity to learn and use an embroidery and surger machines. No prior knowledge or experience needed and all supplies and a mid camp snack are provided.
By the end of the week students will:
- Know how to use a sewing, embroidery and surger machines
- Understand basic sewing patterns
