SOUTHERN NEVADA STEAM SYMPOSIUM
To better meet the needs of diverse communities of learners across the state of Nevada, the NV STEAM Conference is hosting a series of regional events.

Teachers are invited to join us as we showcase the best of K-12 interdisciplinary science, technology, engineering, arts and math (STEAM) education in Southern Nevada.  Looking Back/Moving Forward will explore STEAM through the world of Robotics and feature artist, inventor, and UC Berkeley Professor Ken Goldberg in a keynote lecture exploring robotics through a new lens.

After a day of workshops and lectures, we'll head over to the MGM Grand Hotel to join out partner Cirque Du Soleil for real world STEAM behind the scenes of KA.  Inside the KA theater, we'll be given special access and a technical peek into the sensational production that relies on STEAM to make art come alive.

Free parking provided at the MGM Grand Hotel for all participants.

As a special bonus, Cirque Du Soleil is providing discounted tickets to see the 7:00 pm show that evening (Saturday, Feb 23).
