Over three weeks, explore the creative possibilities of upcycling by transforming existing garments and textiles into something new. Through hands-on projects, students will learn basic sewing and garment redesign techniques while experimenting with shape, function, and personal style. This class offers a creative and sustainable approach to reimagining clothing and textiles you already own, encouraging students to see new possibilities in the materials around them. No prior sewing experience is required—just a willingness to create and experiment! Students are asked to bring their own garments or textiles to transform throughout the course.
