Orbital Reflector Launch Party

We have liftoff! Celebrate the launch of Orbital Reflector with artists, scientists and space travelers alike. Meet the artist Trevor Paglen, get a behind-the-scenes look at the making of Orbital Reflector, and enjoy live performances from members of the Reno Philharmonic and special guests. Attempt to catch a glimpse of the satellite in orbit with state-of-the-art telescopes on the Stacie Mathewson Sky Plaza, courtesy of the Fleischmann Planetarium.

This all ages family-friendly event features nitrogen ice cream, outdoor s'mores station, out-of-this-world cocktails, and many more surprises.
