Introduction to Drawing: Foundations and Technique

This Introductory drawing course is designed to develop various approaches to drawing through active exploration, observation, and self-expression. The classroom exercises will emphasize on the development of observational skills and eye-hand coordination as well as methods and techniques to represent the illusion of the three-dimensional world on a two-dimensional surface. They will also provide experimentation with many drawing materials at the same time, demonstrations will provide students the opportunity to understand various drawing practices, theories and in addition to exposing them to historical and contemporary examples.
