Holiday Cards: Wood Type Printing on the Press

Letterpress print your holiday cards using antique wood and metal type on Katherine's Vandercook letterpress. During this fun day at Katherine's studio, Meridian Press, you will learn the basics of letterpress printing: setting type, locking it up in the press, mixing ink and completing an edition of up to 25 two-color greeting cards. Envelopes will also be included.
Please bring an apron and some ideas for holiday cards. We will also look at at plenty of samples for ideas during class.
