Botanical Illustration: Winter Gourds

Learn the techniques of botanical illustration to capture the bounty of winter gourds in watercolor.  Students with watercolor experience and those new to watercolor are welcome.

Instructor: Carroll Charlet
Ages: Adult (15+) / All levels

Supply List:

- Basic watercolor set that includes yellows, sap green and reds (Beginner’s Reeves or Richardson Set is fine)
- Small round 10-well pallet
- No 6 or No 8 pointed/round watercolor brush
- Graphite or mechanical pencil
- Rubber eraser
- 2 plastic water containers
- Roll of paper towels
- Tablet of cold press 140 lb watercolor paper (2 sheets will be used in class). Students may opt to purchase single sheets of watercolor paper from the instructor for $2/sheet
